GRANJAMAR S.A. is a Fundación Chile subsidiary created in 1990 for the production and sale of turbot (Scophthalmus maximus), in its egg, larvae, juvenile and adult stages. It has a hatchery with a production capacity of 160 thousand juveniles/year, a nursery of conditioned broodstock, that can produce eggs and larvae year around and a grow-out facility for 40 tons/year of adult turbot, that is sold mostly gutted whole fresh.

As a form of diversification and due to its experience with fish farming, Chilean flounder (Paralichtys adpersus) and hirame (Paralichtys olivaceus) juveniles are now being produced and sold.
